Laboratory Furniture built for Oakley

Genie Scientific has been California's #1 laboratory furniture manufacturers for the last three decades. Genie has built laboratories for the revolutionary eyewear and apparel giant Oakley. Located in Foothill Ranch, CA their headquarters is an industrial wonder mimicking the innovative designs that is the Oakley brand.

Genie recently finished construction of their R & D laboratory. The R & D lab is where all new Oakley products are sent for testing. They have custom lab casework and custom steel furniture including workbenches with adjustable shelving. They are painted in silver and black, signature Oakley colors.

Also tucked away in the enormous building is the Quality Control laboratory where Oakley tests their eyewear lenses. Genie built mobile workbenches for their lens testing equipment. The laboratory furniture is not only fully functional but has design flair to parallel the Oakley brand. The lab casework is painted with a clear coat finish that gives it an industrial raw look. The workbenches are placed on casters allowing it to be mobile. The next faze of construction is to add adjustable shelving that will allow for computer monitors and other non-essential equipment to be placed above the work surface giving the user more room to conduct experiments.

Another lab at Oakley utilizes a Genie 4' laboratory fume hood and more lab casework. Genie Scientific has helped Oakley better utilize its work area with professional space planning allowing for better organization and efficiently.
