Bench Top Fume Hood

The mainstay of Genie Scientific laboratory fume hood arsenal is the Slimline bench top model. Genie's Slimline bench top fume hoods are the most common types of hood manufactured.

Bench top fume hoods sit on top of a dished epoxy countertop mounted onto cabinets or ADA stands. Steel base cabinets, flammable storage, acid storage or combination of both are most commonly used.

Just like Genie's walk-in lab fume hoods, the bench top model comes standard with chain driven safety sash, phenolic resin liner, a multitude of service fixtures and the high quality craftsmanship that all Genie clients know and love. Unlike Genie's built in blower fume hoods the bench top models, are all connected to a remote roof mounted exhaust blower. This makes them ideal for continued use.

The Slimline bench top hood is the best option for most laboratories, and can be customized for different uses. With standard sizes of 4', 5', 6' and 8' Genie also will custom build bench top lab fume hoods of any size for any job. It can handle all basic chemistry and the liner can be constructed from stainless steel, PVC, fiberglass or polypropylene allowing for a wide variety of functions.
